Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Common "Poke Her Face"

While you are all stuck inside trying to avoid the Swine Flu, let your ears feast on this.

Remember putting too much lysol on you keyboard can ruin it, and stay away from Robert in accounting, his folks tend pigs.

On another unrelated note, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are both single now, and maybe just mabe if we all pray hard enough they will get back together and all will be right with the world.

Ink- Jamin Winans

This movie gives the side of us that paints in our parents basement, and writes cerebral poems a boner!

Here at MN we have been following this movie closely for a while, eagerly anticipating its release, and as it turns out you can catch it up in Denver. We are trying to get in touch with the production company to possibly get a copy of it to review, but if that doesn't go down, we are planning on donning our "buddy passes" and dramamine; and flying out to Denver to catch a showing, if we do will will be sure to have lots of pics for y'all. "Ink"  is a Jamin Winans film produced by Double Edge Films.  Official site is here

Obsessed

There once was a movie that could, and it was called "Fatal Attraction"
There once was a movie that couldn't, it they called "Swimfan"
Then there was a movie that shouldn't, and its name was "Obsessed"

Staring Beyoncé Knowles (you may know her from, "music") and Ali Larter (from, "nothing really worth meantioning for the last few years") comes a story about a woman obsessed, and a woman scorn, and a cat fight, and a wife out to regain... and so on blah blah...
Obsessed opens today, if you didn't pick that up from the 2 hour special TBS did on it last night. Whereby making it one of the most advertised rehashes in a while, and a movie with better previews than content. ...and that is the pinch and twist of it.

Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy - Amazing

By now you probably know that at Mental Nudity we have a little man-crush on Kanye. Big ego aside we cant deny his talent. Here is his new video for "Amazing" that premiered on 106 And Park last night. Watch it and enjoy.

"Doves- Kingdom of Rust"

Jez Williams(Guitar, Vocals), his brother Andy Williams(Drums, Vocals) and Jimi Goodwin(Bass, Vocals, Guitar) are the three musicians behind the inspiring and earthy sounds found on "Kingdom Of Rust", the title track and first single from the bands fourth studio album.
My attention was caught by the indie rock three piece, whilst surfin' the world wide web for tattoo ideas. For once, my wavering attention span led me somewhere other than a porn site and for that I am grateful...

"The Knowing"-Movie review

">

Hollywood has a throng of celebrities at their disposal when a big budget film needs a well known face to boost the chance of a profit. Samuel L. Jackson, Matthew Mcconaughey and Brad Pitt, are actors that are called upon to carry the weight of films, when they are encumbered by predictable storylines and z-list actors. In “The Knowing” the producers chose Nicholas Cage, a tried and true veteran of the suspense genre. The rest of the cast are relatively unknown and are hardly worth mentioning, except perhaps as a model for those attempting to learn poor acting skills. The Special effects in this film are breathtakingly realistic and perhaps the only saving grace within its one hour and fifty five minute run time. I have yet to see a more impressive train wreck on film,(double entendre?) and the only plane crash that can hold a candle to the one in this movie, is the one featured in “lost”.

The studio enlisted the directing duties of Alex Proyas, who has directed notable films in the past, such as “I,Robot” and “The Crow”. All in all, this movie is predictable, (especially if you’ve seen the trailer) it leaves you emotionally stranded, and it will leave your wallet suffering from buyer’s remorse. If you don’t care about an engaging story, dialogue delivered by actors with a sense of human emotion, or knowing the ending before the movie even starts, than this is the movie to see…

Sunday Sweets

This is new song from Sean Kingston and Lil' Wayne. Go figure right, two guys that are on everything, we like it though. Also, Lil' Wayne is supposed to come out with a new (rock) album. I don't know really what the target audience for that is though it seems like all the "rocker" kids will call him a poser and all the "hip-hop" kids will call him a sell out. Still, the first single "Prom Queen" is pretty darn catchy. You can argue with progress I guess.

Check out Prom Queen.
